Visually, the ATOMX LYNX PRO 8.2 is strongly based on its little brother with less suspension travel. But with 160 mm, it clearly stands out in the range of use. The organic design, the integrated seat clamp and the battery that can be removed from the top tube all add to the feel of this downhill-oriented bike.
No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the high torque Brose motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a well-rounded feeling while riding with a dynamic power delivery. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the BH ATOMX LYNX PRO 8.2 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (4000) .

The chassis unfortunately isn't great. Riders might lack comfort on rough terrain. The mid-range brakes from Shimano do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The components and the shifting seem less important for BH. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground.

Conclusion

Expirience with the BH ATOMX LYNX PRO 8.2

The ATOMX LYNX PRO 8.2 is a great climber. With a fantastic motor, a good geometry and a Impressive range, long tours in the on extreme technical trails are enjoyable. However, there is also a bitter pill to swallow with a poor chassis and a simple groupset.
