Bulls Copperhead EVO 1 29” Review

With just 100 mm of travel on the fork, the Copperhead EVO 1 29 is a bit weak when it comes to light terrain. The ideal area of use for the Copperhead EVO 1 29 is therefore more on paved roads.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. Even seemingly hopeless inclines the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX provides a very natural riding experience with a dynamic power delivery. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Bulls Copperhead EVO 1 29” in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (3000) .

On rough terrain, the Copperhead EVO 1 29, with its only average fork, lacks some control. Shifting and components still leave room for improvement. Other providers dig deeper into their pockets for these assemblies. When it comes to the geometry, Bulls does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Bulls Copperhead EVO 1 29”

The Copperhead EVO 1 29 isnt`t a specialist on the trail. Despite a simple brake system and a poor groupset, it remains thanks to an outstanding geometry and a good motor a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use.
