There are few companies with such a wide E-MTB product range as Focus. The JAM² 7.0 is one of the most successful E-MTBs ever developed in Stuttgart.
Shimano motors remain at the top of the engine popularity alongside Bosch motors. No wonder, as evidenced by EP8. The Shimano motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a natural riding feeling and a harmonious power delivery characterises the Shimano EP8. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the JAM² 7.0 are no problem.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Focus JAM² 7.0 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (8000) .

A good chassis sits in rugged terrain and generates plenty of traction. That's exactly what the good Rock Shox chassis in the JAM² 7.0 hits. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Whoever wants to ride fast, needs good brakes. The SRAM brakes are equipped with four pistons and large brake rotors. That way, the premium brakes decelerate more than adequately. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Focus uses good equipment. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Due to the short chainstays , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. The view of the weight of 25,5 kg reveals: There are lighter All Mountains.

Expirience with the Focus JAM² 7.0

With a , the JAM² 7.0 definitely has weaknesses. Nevertheless, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of abilities , thanks to a very good brake system, a good motor and a good chassis. With a guarantee of 6 years, the warranty is generous.
