Merida eONE-SIXTY 775 (EP6) Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The very natural motor control and the dynamic power output characterise the character of the Bosch motor. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the Neuron:ON CF 7 are no problem.

Carbon frames are rather the exception in the price range of about 5000€. With the carbon fibre chassis, Canyon thus sets clear accents compared to the aluminium competitors. Rough descents take away some of the fear thanks to the average chassis. At the brakes, Canyon instals upper class brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from Shimano. Shifting and components still leave room for improvement. Other providers dig deeper into their pockets for these assemblies. The relatively high reach value in the geometry table is compensated by Canyon with a relatively short stem. Thus, the long main frame remains maneuverable in the terrain.
