In the automotive and motorcycle world, Japan has always had a reputation for being a breeding ground for excellent engines. Shimano is doing its utmost to live up to this reputation in the e-bike world with the EP8 engine. Even gnarly inclines the Shimano motor easily climbs up well Although the EP8 isn't the strongest when it comes to maximum power, it still has its advantages.. The Shimano EP8 provides a natural riding experience with a harmonious power delivery. Thanks to the excellent range, you should no longer have any range problems.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the 2023 Range VLT A1 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (7000) .

The good Fox chassis absorbs even larger roots with the calmness of a Buddhist monk. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. The mid-range brakes from Magura do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the two pistons setup is only average. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. The combination of a slack head tube angle and tendentially long wheelbase makes the 2023 Range VLT A1 remain steady even at higher speeds. Hell yeah, the geometry is killer! Here the remarkable know-how of the Norco developers is videly visible.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Norco 2023 Range VLT A1

The 2023 Range VLT A1 is a real multitool for long tours on extremely demanding single trails. Although there is still room for improvement at an average brake system. Nevertheless, with an extremely good geometry, an outstanding range and a good motor make it a capable Enduros from Norco with a very wide range of use. Praise-worthy: 5 years of Warranty on the Frame!
