The name says it all. Because without a charger, the CHARGER PRO doesn't get very far. Boasting generous 160 mm and beefy tires, this rig drains watt-hour after watt-hour from the battery and craves a plug-in recharge post-ride.
Shimano motors remain at the top of the engine popularity alongside Bosch motors. No wonder, as evidenced by EP801. Even nasty steep sections are effortlessly climbed by the motor. The Shimano EP801 conveys a riding feeling. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Orange CHARGER PRO in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (8000) .

The good Fox chassis confidently dampens small and medium bumps. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the CHARGER PRO. With their four pistons and 2 disc brakes the SRAM brake brakes good. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The reach - or rather the main frame - of the Oranges is long. This puts the CHARGER PRO right on trend. The remaining values from the geometry table also orientate this bike according to the zeitgeist and leave a really thought-through impression.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Orange CHARGER PRO

With a mediocre motor and a middle ground groupset, the CHARGER PRO definitely has weaknesses. Nevertheless, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of abilities , thanks to an extremely good geometry, a good chassis and a good brake system.
