Trail King, the R.X375 CORE is called by Rotwild on its website. Typical for Rotwild, the bike comes with an integrated seatpost and an unmistakable look.
As a component giant, Shimano is mostly known for its dominant position in bicycle gears. But with the EP8, the Japanese are clearly showing that they can look beyond their own plate too. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Shimano motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a well-rounded feeling while riding with a gentle power delivery. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the R.X375 CORE , because of its low range. The battery is securely attached to the down tube and cannot be removed for charging or storage.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the R.X375 CORE in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (8000) .

Solid endurance qualities are shown by the chassis of medium quality. At the brakes, Rotwild middle class four pistons brakes by Magura are used. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Rotwild R.X375 CORE

The developers of Rotwild have created a solid all-rounder with the R.X375 CORE. Even though the E-Mountainbike reveals a weak flank with a poor range and a mediocre chassis, it remains a widely applicable vehicle.
