The Lumen eRIDE 900 SL represents the spearhead of current technical development. The frame is not only particularly light, but also has integrated dampers in the seat tube. The cable routing through the headset makes the look particularly elegant.
The TQ HPR 50 is not one of the powerhouses on the market. The somewhat low torque engine could use a bit more support, especially on steep climbs. The motor control of TQ conveys a very natural riding experience. The harmonious power delivery is an ace up the sleeve of the HPR 50. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the Lumen eRIDE 900 SL , because of its low range. Who wants to remove the battery for charging or storing, will be disappointed with the Lumen eRIDE 900 SL. The battery is firmly built-in.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Lumen eRIDE 900 SL in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (15000) .

With 130 mm travel of the Fox chassis, it's not exactly generously equipped. However, in its preferred habitat, the Fox chassis works well in its even in alpine terrain. At the brakes, Scott middle class four pistons brakes with small 18 brake rotors by SRAM are used. At the drive components and the remaining parts, Scott uses very good parts. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. With the weight of 15,5 kg, Scott puts the competition in a state of shock. Indeed, among Trailbikes, it is hard to find a lighter model. The riding pleasure is guaranteed. An e-mountain bike is most fun when it can be ridden on a single track like a bike without a motor. The combination of good weight and pleasant geometry give the Lumen eRIDE 900 SL the same natural and nimble handling as you know from non-motorised mountain bikes. Really only a few manufacturers manage to get this right.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Scott Lumen eRIDE 900 SL

For tours, the Lumen eRIDE 900 SL with a fantastic motor, an extremely good handling and a very good groupset is well equipped. Only with an average brake system you have to look away. Short of breath is the appropriate reaction when looking at the price tag: 14999 € calls for Scott for this deluxe Bike. Scott gives a warranty of 5 years on the bike.
