A look at the suspension of the Ransom eRIDE 910 makes it clear that the focus here is on downhill riding fun.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. With torque under the motor cover, the support is generous. Nobody needs to fear steep hills anymore. Furthermore, the power of the motor control is regulated so that the start always feels dynamic,. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Ransom eRIDE 910 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (7000) .

The deluxe Fox chassis absorbs big hits like Chuck Norris and provides a lot of traction and control. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Whoever wants to ride fast, needs good brakes. The Shimano brakes are equipped with four pistons and large brake rotors. That way, the premium brakes decelerate more than adequately. Taking a holistic approach also includes looking at the gearing and components. The components are of good qualtiy and offer no reason for criticism here. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. Too steep and technical uphills are less the comfort zone of the Ransom eRIDE 910. On bikes with a steeper seat angle and longer chainstays, it is much more relaxed to climb in demanding terrain. For the very good geometry, the developer team of Scott definitely deserves props. Such a knack for detail in geometry is rarely seen.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Scott Ransom eRIDE 910

Overall, the Ransom eRIDE 910 is, due to an extremely good geometry, a very good chassis and a very good brake system is a good all-rounder for trips on extreme technical trails. Only a moderate range slightly tarnish the otherwise successful overall picture. A generous warranty also speaks of sustainable business practices. With 5 years of warranty, Scott sets the bar high!
