With its integrated shock and the almost invisible #marke_motor motor, the Voltage eRIDE 900 SL makes one thing crystal clear. The Swiss at Voltage eRIDE 900 SL are currently the masters of system integration.
In steep sections the somewhat low torque TQ motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The TQ HPR 50 provides a very natural riding experience. The power delivery is always harmonious. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Voltage eRIDE 900 SL in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (13000) .

Even nasty descents get smoothened by the good Fox chassis. In comparison, it's noticeable that the direct competition mounts better chassises, thus offering significantly more control. At the brakes, Scott instals upper class brakes with four pistons and 2 millimeter rotors from SRAM. At the drive components and the remaining parts, Scott uses very good parts. The 63,9° angle low head tube angle gives the Voltage eRIDE 900 SL increased stability at higher speeds. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. The weight of a bike is a key factor for the fun of riding. With 17,9 kg, the Voltage eRIDE 900 SL is one of the lightest All Mountains on the market. This turns the bike into a real joyride on the trail. An e-mountain bike is most fun when it can be ridden on a single track like a bike without a motor. The combination of good weight and pleasant geometry give the Voltage eRIDE 900 SL the same natural and nimble handling as you know from non-motorised mountain bikes. Really only a few manufacturers manage to get this right.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Scott Voltage eRIDE 900 SL

Especially when gravity pulls both man and machine down, the Voltage eRIDE 900 SL really comes to life. With an excellent handling, a good chassis and a good brake system, the Scott is a real trail rocket. The proud price of 12999 € requires a fat wallet unfortunately. The generous warranty of 5 years proves that Scott stands behind its products.
