The E-Inception AM 7.7.2 manages to mimic the look of the more expensive carbon model with an aluminium frame.
Shimano motors remain at the top of the engine popularity alongside Bosch motors. No wonder, as evidenced by EP8. Also gnarly inclines the Shimano motor easily climbs up well Even though the EP8 doesn't reach the performance of a Bosch CX Motor at maximum output, for example.. The Shimano EP8 provides a well-rounded riding experience with a harmonious power delivery. Thanks to the very good range, you should no longer have any range problems even on very long tours.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the E-Inception AM 7.7.2 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (5000) .

The frame on entry-level was stingy with control. At the brakes, Stevens middle class four pistons brakes by Shimano are used. The components and the shifting seem less important for Stevens. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. When it comes to the geometry, Stevens does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Stevens doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Stevens E-Inception AM 7.7.2

With a poor chassis and a simple groupset, the E-Inception AM 7.7.2 definitely has weaknesses. Nevertheless, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of abilities , thanks to a very strong range and a good motor. Be careful when choosing the size: The Aluminium frame sizing runs small. Stevens gives a warranty of 5 years on the bike.
