Superior eXP 9019 Review

Rough descents take the good Rock Shox fork brand its course, though not with the calmness of a top-end fork. In descending situations, the Shimano brakes require a lot of hand strength or, optionally, courage from the rider. With four pistons and small 18 brake rotors, they only brake poorly. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Superior uses good equipment. When it comes to the geometry, Superior does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Overall, the Superior developers have done a great job with a god geometry.
