The futuristic design of the Sonic EVO TR 1 XS fits perfectly into the corporate identity of the Bulls Sonic line. Like all the other fullys in the Sonic lineup, the Sonic EVO TR 1 XS has a four-link rear triangle with upright shock. Although this has slightly less travel than the fork, it still allows trips into light terrain.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The Bosch motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a very natural riding feeling and a dynamic power delivery characterises the Bosch Performance Line CX. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Bulls Sonic EVO TR 1 XS in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (4000) .

As the bumps become faster and harder, the low-quality chassis could limit the descending fun quite early. The components and the shifting seem less important for Bulls. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. If the Meta's chainstay length is less than 445 short wheelbase and a moderate reach value make the handling pleasantly playful. The small 27.5 inch wheels give the bike a lively character. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Bulls Sonic EVO TR 1 XS

The Sonic EVO TR 1 XS doesn't stand out among the other bikes on the market. It is overshadowed by a poor groupset and a poor range. Still, it is a solid climber and should find a loyal following.
