Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. Steep ramps are no problem for the Bosch motor. Additionally, the Bosch Performance Line CX stands out with a very well-rounded riding feeling and a dynamic power delivery. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

On rough terrain, the MACINA RACE 572, with its only average fork, lacks some control. Especially heavy riders should be aware that the Shimano only decelerates poorly. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. If the Meta's chainstay length is less than 445, the short chainstay and, if the Reach's Relative Rating is less than 3, the relatively short reach characterise the KTM as a playful, agile bike. This makes it easy to navigate through winding trails. The 27.5 inch wheels additionally emphasize the playful character. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. The scale stays at 22,6 kg with this model. That makes the MACINA RACE 572 one of the light Tourenbikes.
