Comparing the DUSK R to the rest of Mondraker's lineup, it comes across as almost boring. However, the second bottle holder position under the top tube is clever.
In the automotive and motorcycle world, Japan has always had a reputation for being a breeding ground for excellent engines. Shimano is doing its utmost to live up to this reputation in the e-bike world with the EP8 engine. The natural motor control and the harmonious power output characterise the character of the Shimano motor. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Mondraker DUSK R in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (6000) .

The Fox chassis provides safety and traction, even when the trail gets rougher. However, it comes to its limit at high speed. The mid-range brakes from SRAM do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Mondraker uses average parts. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Mondraker DUSK R

The developers of Mondraker have created a solid all-rounder with the DUSK R. Even though the E-Mountainbike reveals a weak flank with a mediocre chassis and an average brake system, it remains thanks to a good motor and a good geometry:Genetiv a widely applicable vehicle. With 25 years of warranty, nothing stands in the way of a long-term relationship.
