Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The Bosch motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a very well-rounded riding feeling and a dynamic power delivery characterises the Bosch Performance Line CX. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

As the hits get faster and harder the average chassis limits the downhill fun. Especially for heavy riders, the Bionicon brakes could be a problem. With four pistons they only decelerate averagely. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. The trend is going towards increasingly longer main frames. With a very high Reach Value, Bionicon meets this trend. However, especially inexperienced riders must be aware that it takes a brave body effort to maneuver the Wyatt Trail 2.
