Due to elegant welds and hydroformed tubes, it is hardly noticeable that the WILD H30 has an aluminium frame. At first glance, therefore, its easy to confuse it with the more expensive carbon model. Like its big brother, the aluminium version was unconditionally designed for riding fun on rough trails.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The very natural motor control and the dynamic power output characterise the character of the Bosch motor. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the WILD H30 with only an average range. The integrated battery gives developers constructive freedom when designing the frame. However, to charge it, the bike always has to be brought near an outlet.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Orbea WILD H30 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (6000) .

Rough descents take away some of the fear thanks to the average chassis. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Orbea uses average parts. When it comes to the geometry, Orbea does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Orbea WILD H30

If you want to experience the much-vaunted uphill flow, the WILD H30 is a hot candidate for you. Overall, the WILD H30 is a good climber for tours on insanely technical trails. But with an average groupset and a mediocre range there are also criticisms that come with the overall package. The warranty of 25 years proves that Orbea has a lot of trust in its products.
