Like most e-hardtails in this price segment, the E-Revox 4 relies on a partially integrated battery.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line shows. At steep sections, the somewhat weak Bosch motor requires a lot of initiative from the biker. The Bosch Performance Line gives off a well-rounded riding feeling. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the E-Revox 4 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (3000) .

On rough terrain, the E-Revox 4, with its only average fork, lacks some control. Especially heavy riders should be aware that the Shimano only decelerates poorly. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. When it comes to the geometry, Bergamont does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. For additional points in downhill handling, the low bottom bracket integrates the rider well into the bike and pulls the centre of gravity down. On the scale, the E-Revox 4 makes a good figure with 22,5 kg. Most Einsteiger-Bikes are significantly heavier.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Bergamont E-Revox 4

The E-Revox 4 isnt`t a specialist on the trail. Despite a poor brake system and an average motor, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use. Warning when choosing size: The E-Revox 4 sizing runs small.
