BH ATOM LYNX 8.0 Review

At steep sections, the somewhat weak BH motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The BH 1E-36V gives off a digital riding feeling. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the ATOM LYNX 8.0, because of its low range.

As the hits get faster and harder the average chassis limits the downhill fun. At the brakes, BH reaches for the bottom of the Shimano shelf and instals weak brakes with two pistons and small 18 brake rotors. The components and the shifting seem less important for BH. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. When it comes to the geometry, BH does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated.
