The Spanish manufacturer BH stands out as one of the very few players in the industry by setting themselves apart significantly through the design of their bikes. And the ATOM LYNX PRO 8.2 is no exception. But the design also offers a technical feature. The battery can be removed through the top tube.
At steep sections, the somewhat weak BH motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The BH 1E-36V gives off a rough riding feeling. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the ATOM LYNX PRO 8.2 are no problem.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the BH ATOM LYNX PRO 8.2 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (4000) .

The chassis unfortunately isn't great. Riders might lack comfort on rough terrain. At the brakes, BH middle class four pistons brakes by Shimano are used. Shifting and components still leave room for improvement. Other providers dig deeper into their pockets for these assemblies. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes.

Conclusion

Expirience with the BH ATOM LYNX PRO 8.2

Even though the ATOM LYNX PRO 8.2 is not a top of the class, it still has a clear character. Despite a poor chassis and a simple groupset, it remains a solid downhill rider. So BH appeals mainly to single trail lovers. Warning when choosing size: The ATOM LYNX PRO 8.2 sizing runs small.
