Visually, the ATOMX LYNX PRO 9.7 is strongly based on its little brother with less suspension travel. But with 16 mm, it clearly stands out in the range of use. The organic design, the integrated seat clamp and the battery that can be removed from the top tube all add to the feel of this downhill-oriented bike.
With torque under the motor cover, the support is generous. Nobody needs to fear steep hills anymore. Furthermore, the power of the motor control is regulated so that the start always feels dynamic,. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the BH ATOMX LYNX PRO 9.7 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (6000) .

Carbon is considered a premium material in the bike industry. In the price range about 6€, aluminium is usually the frame material used. With the carbon frame, BH can clearly differentiate itself from many competitors. The Fox chassis provides safety and traction, even when the trail gets rougher. However, it comes to its limit at high speed. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Thanks to the solid power, the Shimano brakes can be counted on in the upper class segment. With four pistons and big brake rotors, BH won't take any chances in that area. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, BH uses good equipment. When it comes to the geometry, BH does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability.

Conclusion

Expirience with the BH ATOMX LYNX PRO 9.7

Overall, the ATOMX LYNX PRO 9.7 is, due to an outstanding motor, a $brake system_gut brake system and a good groupset is a good all-rounder for trips on insanely technical trails. Only an average chassis slightly tarnish the otherwise successful overall picture.
