The bulbous downtube of the iLYNX+ ENDURO CARBON 9.7 has become a signature trait of the Spanish brand. There's no deeper meaning behind it.
Shimano motors remain at the top of the engine popularity alongside Bosch motors. No wonder, as evidenced by EP81. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Shimano motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a natural feeling while riding with a gentle power delivery. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the BH iLYNX+ ENDURO CARBON 9.7 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (7000) .

Carbon frames are rather the exception in the price range of about 7€. With the carbon fibre chassis, BH thus sets clear accents compared to the aluminium competitors. The good Fox chassis absorbs even larger roots with the calmness of a Buddhist monk. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the brakes, BH instals upper class brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from Shimano. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. When it comes to the geometry, BH does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The deep bottom bracket also provides excellent cornering and thus contributes to the good handling. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle, when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting. Of course, a low bottom bracket also has its downside. In technical uphills, the pedal can sometimes touch the ground here. However, we think: This is manageable.

Conclusion

Expirience with the BH iLYNX+ ENDURO CARBON 9.7

Overall, a good chassis, a $brake system_gut brake system and a good groupset speak a clear language. The iLYNX+ ENDURO CARBON 9.7 is a good bike with mini-downhill DNA
