The bulbous downtube of the iLYNX+ ENDURO CARBON 9.9 has become a signature trait of the Spanish brand. There's no deeper meaning behind it.
Shimano motors remain at the top of the engine popularity alongside Bosch motors. No wonder, as evidenced by EP81. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Shimano motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a well-rounded feeling while riding with a harmonious power delivery. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the BH iLYNX+ ENDURO CARBON 9.9 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (10000) .

At the chassis, BH were generous and gave the iLYNX+ ENDURO CARBON 9.9 a golden shine Kashima chassis from the house of Fox with 16 mm of travel. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. With its four pistons and larger brake rotors the Shimano braking system decelerates outstandingly. This allows you to maintain control over your own pace even in the steepest descents. A nice touch: The gear and components are on a very good level. When it comes to the geometry, BH does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The deep bottom bracket also provides excellent cornering and thus contributes to the good handling. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. Of course, a low bottom bracket also has its downside. In technical uphills, the pedal can sometimes touch the ground here. However, we think: This is manageable.

Conclusion

Expirience with the BH iLYNX+ ENDURO CARBON 9.9

With an excellent chassis, a $brake system_sehr_gut brake system and a very good groupset, BH has put together a coherent package. Tour riders will find this bike a very good all-rounder for tours on insanely technical trails.
