BH ILYNX TRAIL 8.2 Review

At steep sections, the somewhat weak BH motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The BH 2EXMAG gives off a rough riding feeling. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

The Fox chassis provides safety and traction, even when the trail gets rougher. However, it comes to its limit at high speed. The mid-range brakes from SRAM do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The handling of the bike is pleasantly balanced due to the moderate geometry. This allows you to intuitively control the bike over the trails. Due to the short chainstays and the shallow seat angle , when climbing steep sections, it requires active weight shifting to prevent the front wheel from lifting.
