Barely visible cables, a beautiful frame and an almost integrated bottle cage make it clear: design was a top priority for the Spanish developers for building the XTEP LYNX CARBON PRO 9.9.
Shimano has become the biggest component manufacturer for bicycles thanks to its gear, pedal and brake components. It's clear that the Japanese want to shape the E-Bike trend from this dominant market position. The well-rounded motor control and the gentle power output characterise the character of the Shimano motor. Whoever enjoys longer tours will be pleased with the good range.

At a glance

The frame is simply top notch, keeping you in control even on rougher trails full of fast hard hits. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. With its four pistons and larger brake rotors the Shimano braking system decelerates fantasticly. This allows you to maintain control over your own pace even in the steepest descents. For an All Mountain , the Maxxis tires with a width of #reifen_inch_breite inches are relatively narrow. In our opinion, BH could have put on wider tires. A nice touch: The gear and components are on a very good level. When it comes to the geometry, BH does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling.
