BMC Fourstroke AMP LT THREE Review

In steep sections the somewhat low torque TQ motor requires a lot of initiative from the biker. The TQ HPR 50 provides a very well-rounded riding experience. The power delivery is always gentle. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

Carbon frames are rather the exception in the price range of about 7000€. With the carbon fibre chassis, BMC thus sets clear accents compared to the aluminium competitors. Solid endurance qualities are shown by the chassis of medium quality. Especially for heavy riders, the BMC brakes could be a problem. With four pistons and small 180 brake rotors they only decelerate averagely. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. The relatively high reach value in the geometry table is compensated by BMC with a relatively short stem. Thus, the long main frame remains maneuverable in the terrain. An e-mountain bike is most fun when it can be ridden on a single track like a bike without a motor. The combination of good weight and very pleasant geometry give the Fourstroke AMP LT THREE the same natural and nimble handling as you know from non-motorised mountain bikes. Really only a few manufacturers manage to get this right.
