Bulls Aminga EVA 1 27.5” Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The Bosch motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a very natural riding feeling and a dynamic power delivery characterises the Bosch Performance Line CX. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

Especially on root-strewn trails, the low-quality chassis puts the rider in front of greater challenges than necessary. At the brakes, Bulls middle class two pistons brakes with small 18 brake rotors by Magura are used. The narrow #reifen_inch_breite Ace of Pace tires do not do this EMTB's range of use any justice. In our opinion, Bulls has saved weight in the wrong place here. Shifting and components still leave room for improvement. Other providers dig deeper into their pockets for these assemblies. If the Meta's chainstay length is less than 445 430 mm, then it has a short chainstay and a moderate reach value make the handling pleasantly playful. The 27.5 inch wheels additionally emphasize the playful character. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward.
