When it comes to classic mountain bikes without a motor, the Copperhead model series is one of the most popular bikes for beginners. And the Copperhead EVO 1 27.5 also wants to live up to this reputation. At an attractive price of 3099 €, they want to convince with a solid bike. They deliberately refrain from technical innovations to not put too much strain on the customer's wallet.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The Bosch motor climbs steep ramps effortlessly. The very natural riding feeling combines the Bosch Performance Line CX with a dynamic power delivery. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the Copperhead EVO 1 27.5 , because of its low range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Bulls Copperhead EVO 1 27.5” in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (3000) .

On rough terrain, the Copperhead EVO 1 27.5, with its only average fork, lacks some control. The narrow #reifen_inch_breite Supero tires do not do this EMTB's range of use any justice. In our opinion, Bulls has saved weight in the wrong place here. Shifting and components still leave room for improvement. Other providers dig deeper into their pockets for these assemblies. If the Meta's chainstay length is less than 445 440 mm, then it has a short chainstay and a moderate reach value make the handling pleasantly playful. Small wheels are becoming rare, but with the Copperhead EVO 1 27.5 the 27.5 wheels pay off with a playful riding experience. For additional points in downhill handling, the low bottom bracket integrates the rider well into the bike and pulls the centre of gravity down. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Bulls Copperhead EVO 1 27.5”

No doubt, the Copperhead EVO 1 27.5 makes its older competitors look like old news. Nevertheless, as a solid climber it still has some aces up its sleeve to convince bikers who prefer to go uphill.
