Bulls Copperhead EVO 2 XXL 750 27.5” Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX Smart System shows. Even steepest climbs the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System provides a very natural riding experience with a progressive power delivery. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

In rough terrain, the Copperhead EVO 2 XXL 750 27.5 lacks a bit of control with its only average fork. Especially heavy riders should be aware that the Tektro only decelerates poorly. Wide tires provide more grip and comfort. Bulls tends to fit narrow tires with its #reifen_inch_breite Bulls tires. For an EMTB, we would prefer wider treads. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Bulls uses average parts. On winding trails, the playful handling comes to the fore, as the bike masters even the fastest direction changes with the short chainstay length playfully. The small 27.5 inch wheels give the bike a lively character. Furthermore, the bike lies excellent on the trail thanks to its low bottom bracket and thus low centre of gravity. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward.
