Bulls LT CX 29 Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX Smart System shows. The very natural motor control and the dynamic power output characterise the character of the Bosch motor. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the LT CX 29 , because of its low range.

In rough terrain, the LT CX 29 lacks a bit of control with its only average fork. At the brakes, Bulls reaches for the bottom of the Tektro shelf and instals simple brakes with two pistons and small 18 brake rotors. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar.
