Cannondale Habit Neo 1 Review

The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. No matter how steep or technical the climb is: the Bosch motor makes it conquerable! At the same time, the drive provides a very natural feeling while riding with a progressive power delivery. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the Habit Neo 1 are no problem.

Rough descents take away some of the fear thanks to the average chassis. The mid-range brakes from Magura do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated.
