It's clear that the Japanese want to shape the E-Bike trend from this dominant market position. The well-rounded motor control and the harmonious power output characterise the character of the Shimano motor. The average range can become a problem especially for long mountain bike rides.

The good Rock Shox fork dampens small and medium bumps confidently when mountain biking. At the brakes, Canyon middle class four pistons brakes by Shimano are used. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. When it comes to the geometry, Canyon does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care.
