Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. Also steep uphills the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX provides a very natural riding experience with a progressive power delivery. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Fans of XXL tours will be happy with the Neuron:ON CF 8 due to ist excellent range.

In the about 5500€ price range, most manufacturers use aluminium as the frame material. With a carbon frame, Canyon turns the weight screw and sets itself apart from the competitors. The Fox chassis provides safety and traction, even when the trail gets rougher. However, it comes to its limit at high speed. When it comes to the brakes, Canyon reaches for the top shelf and instals premium brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from Shimano. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Canyon uses good equipment. The relatively high reach value in the geometry table is compensated by Canyon with a relatively short stem. Thus, the long main frame remains maneuverable in the terrain.
