Canyon Spectral ONfly CLLCTV Review

In steep sections the somewhat low torque TQ motor requires a lot of initiative from the rider. The TQ HPR 50 provides a very natural riding experience. The power delivery is always harmonious. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly. The battery is firmly integrated into the frame and can not be easily removed.

Carbon frames are rather the exception in the price range of about 7500€. With the carbon fibre chassis, Canyon thus sets clear accents compared to the aluminium competitors. The top notch Fox chassis absorbs big hits like Chuck Norris and provides a lot of traction and control. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the brakes, Canyon instals upper class brakes with four pistons and 2 millimeter rotors from SRAM. A nice touch: The gear and components are on a very good level. The relatively high reach value in the geometry table is compensated by Canyon with a relatively short stem. Thus, the long main frame remains maneuverable in the terrain. With its 19,5 kg, the Spectral ONfly CLLCTV is one of the lighter E-bikes. The competition is often significantly heavier.
