Canyon Torque:ON CF Roczen Review

As a component giant, Shimano is mostly known for its dominant position in bicycle gears. But with the EP8, the Japanese are clearly showing that they can look beyond their own plate too. Steep ramps are no problem for the Shimano motor. Additionally, the Shimano EP8 stands out with a natural riding feeling and a harmonious power delivery. Fans of XXL tours will be happy with the Torque:ON CF Roczen due to ist excellent range.

In the Downhill, the bike racks up plenty of points. The extremely good Rock Shox chassis calmly and confidently handles rough terrain. Setup-Nerds can squeeze out the maximum performance from the chassis thanks to the many setting options. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. Whoever wants to ride fast, needs good brakes. The SRAM brakes are equipped with four pistons and large brake rotors. That way, the premium brakes decelerate more than adequately. A nice touch: The gear and components are on a very good level. High Reach values are in full trend. So, the Torque:ON CF Roczen has an on-trend geometry. However, the bike requires a courageous body effort to hit the lines in the singletrail. For less experienced riders, this is often unfamiliar.
