Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. Also gnarly inclines the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX provides a very well-rounded riding experience with a progressive power delivery. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

The very good chassis with 160 mm travel in the front and 155 mm rear hub also proves to have a lot of resilience even on rougher terrain. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. Whoever wants to ride fast, needs good brakes. The Shimano brakes are equipped with four pistons and large brake rotors. That way, the premium brakes decelerate more than adequately. Taking a holistic approach also includes looking at the gearing and components. The components are of good qualtiy and offer no reason for criticism here. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Too steep and technical uphills are less the comfort zone of the No Pogo R3700i. On bikes with a steeper seat angle and longer chainstays, it is much more relaxed to climb in demanding terrain.
