Centurion Numinis R2700i/R2600i Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. Steep ramps are no problem for the Bosch motor. Additionally, the Bosch Performance Line CX stands out with a very well-rounded riding feeling and a dynamic power delivery. The well-tuned driving modes hit the mark. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

Rough descents take away some of the fear thanks to the average chassis. At the brakes, Centurion middle class four pistons brakes by Shimano are used. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Centurion uses average parts. When it comes to the geometry, Centurion does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The bottom bracket is high, which costs handling points. This tends to make the rider stand on the bike. On other EMTBs it feels better integrated. Also, weight is an important factor when it comes to EMTB. The Numinis R2700i/R2600i isn't exactly shining in this regard. There are lighter Trailbikes on the market.
