Shimano motors remain at the top of the engine popularity alongside Bosch motors. No wonder, as evidenced by EP8. Steep ramps are no problem for the Shimano motor. Additionally, the Shimano EP8 stands out with a natural riding feeling and a gentle power delivery. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the META POWER SX RIDE with only an average range.

On rough descents, the moderate chassis limits you and demands a more precise line choice than bikes with better chassis. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the META POWER SX RIDE. With their four pistons and large brake rotors the SRAM brake brakes good. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Commençal uses average parts. When it comes to the geometry, Commençal does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes.
