With 15 mm, the Conway Ryvon ST 1. is the more sensible iteration of its larger sibling, aptly named the LT edition. Despite their striking visual similarity, the ST version showcases a somewhat tamer demeanor when tackling the trails.

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the SX shows. The Swabians from Bosch are sending their first light engine into the race with the SX. With 55 Nm torque, this unit places exactly in the middle between Fazua's Ride 6 and TQ's HPR 5. However, it delivers up to 6 watts of support, similar performance figures to the popular Bosch CX. The starting behavior remains progressive. The complete motor control is very $natural. In terms of installation space and sound, the small Bosch can't quite keep up with its competitors from the Light segment. Fans of XXL tours are greatly restricted by the Conway Ryvon ST 1. , because of its low range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Conway Ryvon ST 10.0 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (9000) .

The good Rock Shox chassis absorbs even larger roots with the calmness of a Buddhist monk. At the brakes, Conway instals upper class brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from Magura. The drivetrain and components have a subordinate but not to be neglected importance when it comes to EMTB. Even the bike brand product managers know this and don't aim too high with mostly average components. When it comes to the geometry, Conway does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height is a party pooper for the handling on the trail. On other bikes, you are more centrally located behind the handlebar. Short chainstays and make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Conway doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here. With its slim weight, the Conway Ryvon ST 1. is one of the lightest EMTBs.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Conway Conway Ryvon ST 10.0

If you're looking for a comfortable ride for everyday use, the Conway Ryvon ST 1. isn't for you, because this bike only knows one gear when going downhill - full throttle! With a very good handling, a good chassis and a good brake system, it puts most of the competition in its place. With 5 years of guarantee, nothing can go wrong in the long run.
