With 15 mm, the Conway Ryvon ST 4. is the more sensible iteration of its larger sibling, aptly named the LT edition. Despite their striking visual similarity, the ST version showcases a somewhat tamer demeanor when tackling the trails.

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the SX shows. The Swabians from Bosch are sending their first light engine into the race with the SX. With 55 Nm torque, this unit places exactly in the middle between Fazua's Ride 6 and TQ's HPR 5. However, it delivers up to 6 watts of support, similar performance figures to the popular Bosch CX. The starting behavior remains progressive. The complete motor control is very $natural. In terms of installation space and sound, the small Bosch can't quite keep up with its competitors from the Light segment. The short range unfortunately limits the tour radius quite significantly.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Conway Ryvon ST 4.0 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (6000) .

In the about 6€ price range, most manufacturers use aluminium as the frame material. With a carbon frame, Conway turns the weight screw and sets itself apart from the competitors. Solid endurance qualities are shown by the chassis of medium quality. At the brakes, Conway middle class four pistons brakes by Magura are used. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Conway uses average parts. When it comes to the geometry, Conway does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Short chainstays and make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Conway doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here. With its 18,6 kg, the Conway Ryvon ST 4. is one of the lighter E-bikes. The competition is often significantly heavier.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Conway Conway Ryvon ST 4.0

The Conway Ryvon ST 4. isnt`t a specialist on the trail. Despite a middle ground chassis and an average brake system, it remains thanks to a very good motor and a very good handling a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use. The guarantee promise of 5 years provides trust.
