Conway Xyron S 2.7 Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. The Bosch motor climbs steep ramps effortlessly. The very natural riding feeling combines the Bosch Performance Line CX with a dynamic power delivery. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the Xyron S 2.7 are no problem.

Solid endurance qualities are shown by the chassis of medium quality. The mid-range brakes from Tektro do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. If the Meta's chainstay length is less than 445 short wheelbase and a moderate reach value make the handling pleasantly playful. Small wheels are becoming rare, but with the Xyron S 2.7 the 27.5 wheels pay off with a playful riding experience. The deep bottom bracket also provides excellent cornering and thus contributes to the good handling. We love deep bottom brackets, as long as it's going downhill. Uphill you need to be aware that the crank can sometimes hit the ground.
