Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX Smart System shows. Steep ramps are no problem for the Bosch motor. Additionally, the Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System stands out with a very well-rounded riding feeling and a progressive power delivery. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

The good Rock Shox chassis absorbs even larger roots with the calmness of a Buddhist monk. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. The mid-range brakes from SRAM do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Corratec uses good equipment. When it comes to the geometry, Corratec does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Short chainstays and and a slack seat angle make the front end light in steep climbs. To keep the front wheel on the ground, you need to consciously lean forward. It's no use beating around the bush: the geometry of Corratec doesn't suit our taste. Competitors are closer to the cutting edge here.
