Rough descents take the good X-Fusion fork brand its course, though not with the calmness of a top-end fork. In descending situations, the Shimano brakes require a lot of hand strength or, optionally, courage from the rider. With two pistons and small 18 brake rotors, they only brake poorly. The shifting and the rest of the components are always in the shadow of the engine when it comes to electric mountain bikes. Nevertheless, CUBE doesn't skimp here and instals very good components. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground.
