CUBE Stereo Hybrid ONE22 Pro 800 Review

With the Stereo Hybrid ONE22 Pro, Cube has introduced a comfortable ride for tours on gravel or light terrain, focusing on the essentials without much fuss.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX Gen. 5 shows. No motor has shaped the EMTB boom as much as the Bosch CX. Since October 224, the 5th generation of the Bosch Performance Line CX has been available. Compared to the previous model, the motor is especially much quieter. While you can still hear a sound when pedaling uphill, the annoying high-frequency tones have finally disappeared. The gearbox no longer rattles on the downhill trails either. With its proven performance data of 85 Nm torque and over 6 watts of peak power, the motor provides ample power, even for the steepest uphill trails. Bosch has always been a leader in motor control, and the new CX demonstrates this as well. Although it doesn't reach the extremely fine tuning of the #DJI Avinox, Bosch remains one of the best brands on the market in terms of motor control. Additionally, the motor delivers powerful support even at low cadence. Thanks to the excellent range, you should no longer have any range problems.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the CUBE Stereo Hybrid ONE22 Pro 800 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (4000) .

On rough terrain, the Stereo Hybrid ONE22 Pro with its mediocre SR Suntour chassis lacks bit of control. In descending situations, the Magura brakes require a lot of hand strength or, optionally, courage from the biker. With two pistons, they only brake poorly. The components and the shifting seem less important for CUBE. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. In view of the high reach value, it becomes clear: The main frame is long. However, the generous reach is compensated for by a very short stem. This way, CUBE creates a good weight distribution between the wheels and a balanced handling. The view of the weight of 26,3 kg reveals: There are lighter Touringbikes.

Conclusion

Expirience with the CUBE Stereo Hybrid ONE22 Pro 800

The Stereo Hybrid ONE22 Pro isnt`t a specialist on the trail. Despite a simple chassis and a $brake system_schlecht brake system, it remains thanks to an extremely good geometry, an amazing range and a very good motor a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use.
