CUBE Stereo Hybrid ONE44 Pro Review

The Stereo Hybrid ONE44 Pro features an aluminum frame with a minimalist look, almost in contrast to the futuristic carbon models. Additionally, it has 14 mm of travel in the fork, slightly less than the pricier One44 carbon models.
Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX Gen. 5 shows. No motor has shaped the EMTB boom as much as the Bosch CX. Since October 224, the 5th generation of the Bosch Performance Line CX has been available. Compared to the previous model, the motor is especially much quieter. While you can still hear a sound when pedaling uphill, the annoying high-frequency tones have finally disappeared. The gearbox no longer rattles on the downhill trails either. With its proven performance data of 85 Nm torque and over 6 watts of peak power, the motor provides ample power, even for the steepest uphill trails. Bosch has always been a leader in motor control, and the new CX demonstrates this as well. Although it doesn't reach the extremely fine tuning of the #DJI Avinox, Bosch remains one of the best brands on the market in terms of motor control. Additionally, the motor delivers powerful support even at low cadence. Thanks to the excellent range, you should no longer have any range problems.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the CUBE Stereo Hybrid ONE44 Pro in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (4000) .

As the bumps become faster and harder, the low-quality chassis could limit the descending fun quite early. In descending situations, the Magura brakes require a lot of hand strength or, optionally, courage from the rider. With two pistons, they only brake poorly. The components and the shifting seem less important for CUBE. The components used here have a clear potential for improvement after a view at the competitors. The combination of a slack head tube angle and tendentially long wheelbase makes the Stereo Hybrid ONE44 Pro remain steady even at higher speeds. For the good geometry, the developer team of CUBE definitely deserves props. Such a knack for detail in geometry is rarely seen. Also, weight is an important factor when it comes to EMTB. The Stereo Hybrid ONE44 Pro isn't exactly shining in this regard. There are lighter Trailbikes on the market.

Conclusion

Expirience with the CUBE Stereo Hybrid ONE44 Pro

With a poor chassis and a $brake system_schlecht brake system, the Stereo Hybrid ONE44 Pro definitely has weaknesses. Nevertheless, it remains a solid all-rounder with a wide range of abilities, thanks to an awesome range, a very good motor and a very good geometry.
