Fantic XMF 1.7 Carbon Review

The high-torque Brose motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a natural riding feeling and a progressive power delivery characterises the Brose Drive S Mag. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the XMF 1.7 Carbon are no problem.

Rough descents take away some of the fear thanks to the average chassis. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. Thanks to the solid power, the SRAM brakes can be counted on in the upper class segment. With four pistons and big brake rotors, Fantic won't take any chances in that area. The narrow #reifen_inch_breite Vittoria tires do not do this Enduros range of use any justice. In our opinion, Fantic has saved weight in the wrong place here. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling.
