Around the damper, the XTF 1.6 Carbon Race super filigree struts. The carbon main frame makes this individual design possible. Cables run like most high-end bikes through the headset and are barely visible from the rider's perspective.
The high-torque Brose motor takes away the fear of even the steepest ramps. The combination of a well-rounded riding feeling and a progressive power delivery characterises the Brose Drive S Mag. Thanks to the good range, longer tours with the XTF 1.6 Carbon Race are no problem.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Fantic XTF 1.6 Carbon Race in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (9000) .

The Rock Shox chassis provides safety and traction, even when the trail gets rougher. However, it comes to its limit at high speed. As the bumps become faster and harder, the low-quality chassis could limit the descending fun quite early. Bad brakes reduce the riding pleasure. Fortunately, this is not the case with the XTF 1.6 Carbon Race. With their four pistons the SRAM brake brakes good. The narrow #reifen_inch_breite Pirelli tires do not do this All Mountains range of use any justice. In our opinion, Fantic has saved weight in the wrong place here. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. When it comes to the geometry, Fantic does not go completely crazy. The head tube angle and reach values were chosen with care. The result: A balanced riding behaviour with a good combination of playfulness and straight-line stability. The low bottom bracket height will likely be a sticking point for trail riders, as it negatively affects handling. Oh boy, with the geometry you have to be ready to make compromises from our perspective. The most important measurements and angles fall slightly out of the grid of good bikes.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Fantic XTF 1.6 Carbon Race

The XTF 1.6 Carbon Race isnt`t a specialist on the trail. Despite a middle ground chassis and a mediocre groupset, it remains thanks to an excellent motor, a good brake system and a good range a solid all-rounder with a wide range of use.
