The FOCUS SAM² 6.0 is the shred machine in the portfolio of German E-MTB manufacturers Focus. With lush suspension travel and low-lying battery, the Stuttgart engineers want to have made the bike fit for the gnarliest descents on this planet.
The Performance Line CX Smart System from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. The very well-rounded motor control and the dynamic power output characterise the character of the Bosch motor. Achieving such a perfect balance between natural support and power is something few other engines can do. Thanks to the very good range, you should no longer have any range problems even on very long tours.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Focus FOCUS SAM² 6.0 in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (9000) .

In the Downhill, the bike racks up plenty of points. The outstanding Fox chassis calmly and confidently handles rough terrain. The thick 38mm stanchions on the fork provide an extra dose of steering precision and performance. At the rear, the steel spring shock absorber provides maximum sensitivity. When it comes to the brakes, Focus reaches for the top shelf and instals premium brakes with four pistons and large brake rotors from Shimano. The components and the gears are less in the spotlight with an EMTB than with bikes without motor. Nevertheless, when we take a look we find out that here, good components are always used. The reach - or rather the main frame - of the Focuss is long. This puts the FOCUS SAM² 6.0 right on trend. The remaining values from the geometry table also orientate this bike according to the zeitgeist and leave a really thought-through impression. With weight, the FOCUS SAM² 6.0 is generally one of the heavier e-bikes on the market.

Expirience with the Focus FOCUS SAM² 6.0

For long tours, the FOCUS SAM² 6.0 with an extremely good motor, a very good chassis and a very good brake system is well equipped. Focus gives a warranty of 6 years on the bike.
