The E-ASX 160 Advanced forgoes technical bells and whistles to keep costs as low as possible for the customer.
The Performance Line CX from Bosch shows impressively that they shouldn't be limited to DIY and household products. Also seemingly hopeless ramps the Bosch motor easily climbs up well. The Bosch Performance Line CX provides a very natural riding experience with a dynamic power delivery. The well-tuned riding modes cater to bikers of all preferences. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

At a glance

The most importanten ratings of the Ghost E-ASX 160 Advanced in comparison to the competitor bikes of following categorie: (6000) .

Even nasty descents get smoothened by the good Fox chassis. The mid-range brakes from Shimano do their job but could be a bit firmer. The power of the four pistons setup is only average. The average shifting components and accessories leave some tuning potential open. For most e-bikers, this should be an acceptable point. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. Too steep and technical uphills are less the comfort zone of the E-ASX 160 Advanced. On bikes with a steeper seat angle and longer chainstays, it is much more relaxed to climb in demanding terrain. Hell yeah, the geometry is killer! Here the know-how of the Ghost developers is videly visible.

Conclusion

Expirience with the Ghost E-ASX 160 Advanced

Overall, the E-ASX 160 Advanced is, due to a very good geometry, a very strong range and a good motor is a good all-rounder for long trips on extreme technical trails. Only an average brake system and a middle ground groupset slightly tarnish the otherwise successful overall picture. With 5 years of warranty, nothing stands in the way of a long-term relationship.
