Ghost E-ASX 160 Universal Review

Bosch is the major motor manufacturer in the EMTB world, alongside Shimano - and it's no surprise, as the Performance Line CX shows. Steep ramps are no problem for the Bosch motor. Additionally, the Bosch Performance Line CX stands out with a very well-rounded riding feeling and a progressive power delivery. This great combination mixed with lots of power, is something only a few other motors at Bosch's level can achieve. Whoever likes to go on long rides will be pleased with the very good range.

Solid endurance qualities are shown by the chassis of medium quality. At the brakes, Ghost middle class four pistons brakes by Shimano are used. At the drivetrain components and the rest of the parts, Ghost uses average parts. The moderate head tube angle provides a good compromise between stability and agility when going downhill. The reach is also right there in the middle ground. Even when it gets really steep, the long chainstays will stick the front wheel to the ground. For the good geometry, the developer team of Ghost definitely deserves props. Such a knack for detail in geometry is rarely seen.
